Author, boardroom consultant and intellectual adventurer, Jeroen van den Oever was born near Amsterdam in The Netherlands in 1968. He grew up in the rural south and graduated with a degree in economics from Tilburg University and a degree in business administration from Vrije University Amsterdam in 1991. He is also a certified public accountant. From 1991 to 2004 he was a consultant with KPMG Consulting, where he covered the issues governance and business transformation. In 2004 he founded Limbus Consulting, a top end provider of strategy consulting services. Then in 2009 Resources Global Professionals, a Nasdaq listed consulting firm acquired Limbus. He is the author of several previous books covering governance, risk and uncertainty topics.
